The first Z1000 I owned. Swapped it for a Kawasaki W2S 650 twin.

Singular.
I,ve owned them all over the years but I guess the 1100 kat I miss the most . Traded in on a DR600 to go exploring , didn't happen :(
my 350 ypvs..you just dont get bored reeling in big bikes on one of those
1987 TZR250
There is the distinct smell of burning oil in here :))
Most of mine has been of the four-stroke variety.
HMPF all those bits of unneccesary metal spinning round inside the head ...lol
Yeah but when you do a fly by the pub no one throws glasses at the 4 stroke . Same can't be said for the smoker :)
lol i was talking about mick s head lol [sorry mick lol]
Didn't realise Mick had ANYTHING in his head ;) sorry Mick
I'd also love to have my FZ750. See. No two-stroke in that.
KH400 - I loved that bike...
My XT 600 with enduro tank. That thumper could go anywhere and do anything. It was wicked fun.
z 50! for me
After just bending 18 of 24 valves in the Beast's engine. I'm tending to think 2 strokes aren't so bad!
Wished I still had my first bike, as a 15 year old, The Hodaka Wombat!
How'd you miss the other six?
A mate of mine raced a Hodaka Wombat as a sponsored rider. Yes, he's much older than me.
The other six just kissed the piston. I'd say that they had a poofteenth more valve clearance and clearance to the piston pockets. A head stud broke and the dome nut (and piece of threaded rod) dropped into the cam chain tunnel. Breaking the cam chain. A bit of a freak accident, but when I rebuild, I have some stronger studs to put in the cases. My engineer mate, made up a few sets, when he made some for his twin turbo CBX salt racer
Anyway we were planning on retiring from racing for a while and it is nothing that Time and Money can't fix.
Something that we all have an abundance of!!!!!!!
RD250DX, the 250 & 350LC's (actually, just any of the RD's)
TZR250 (looking for a 3XV now..)
'87 VFR400NC21
TDR250
FZ750
CX500 #3 of 6, we had such fun together weirdly enough!
Honda Hurricane 110cc & Yamaha RZ135 (bored to 150cc) - fun at the time and in those places! (would not make sense in some countries; but there & then they were good!)
CBR600F #2 of 5 - tuned to the hilt and handling nirvana for 1993! ha ha
...probably more I have forgotten to include...
G'day Zeno, come on mate: pick one, ha ha
G'day Rol, proof that a slappy tappet is a happy tappet. . . and even happier valves!
Hokey dokey - the TZR then, as I still remember the day I picked it up in Bournmouth and ran through the New Forest, having so much fun and forgot to check the fuel level - bloke stopped on the M27 and sold me some at like 3 time the price - maybe 75p on the litre! (20 something at the time), still, I was happy to not be stuck there - teenagers on bikes hey!
hi zeno a fellow teenager on a stroker lol
i once road a FS1-E to birmingham from london for a bike show .......only did it once tho lol
Yes, I took a TS50ER to Oxford from Pompey in the middle of Winter - 30mph and freezing is somehow worse than 90mph and freezing - the warm pub/hearth/maiden is seemingly a lot further away at that snail pace! lol
I wish I still had my '06 ZX-10........
Hey Richard, do you still have the katana?
You better have, cause I didnt get a call if you off loaded it.
2001 Aprilia RS250, Traded it in for an Aprilia Shiver, should of just got a loan.
