I hope someone can help me with this one...
When researching headlights for my ZX7R 'fighter I (naturally) spent more time worrying about looks & assumed (I know!) that the details would look after themselves.
So; I have a great looking set of Dominator-style twin lights however, they don't seem to be very bright. While I don't do a lot of riding after dark I would like to see where I am going when I do!
They are the real deal ("e" marked, fitted with H4 60/55 globes) so from all reports they should be fine. I had an auto-elec. do the wiring, so I don't suspect this as an issue.
I need to know if this is normal, & if so what is an easy solution? Bigger/brighter globes is the obvious one however, I have been told that Kawasaki wiring (the bike is running it's original loom) doesn't like to carry too heavy a load without going into meltdown - this is a situation I would much rather avoid.
Also, this project has been a budget build from the outset, so I don't want to (or can't afford to!) throw a heap of dollars at the problem.
Any ideas?
