We're about to start a possible turbo build on Project XJR. Or should we go nitrous? Big bore? All of the above? It's that or straight out old school superbike with natural aspiration, braced swingarm and lots of suspension work!

Get rid of the centrestand and hide a turbo up underneath.
I'd love to see a big bore & a nitrous setup.
Turbo it, but make it interesting. Turbo it in 24 hours or over a weekend. Just to see if you could ride it home friday afternoon and ride it to work on monday with a turbs.
Tell ya what, I'll mention that to Jamie in the morning. . .
Offering to supply the turbo, are you?
Old school Superbike ,braced arm ,big bore ,big valves, cams, obnoxiously loud pipe .
KR replica paint
Whatever we decide, it definitely needs more horsepower. Too much is never enough. I like the idea of an A/Streeter with a modern engine and mechanicals.
I've got a score to settle with a mate and his GSX1400.
Oh the humanity roflmao
No amount of horsepower is going to be enough to carry your barge arse "playswithnitro" :-)
I'd like to see more of an "old school" superbike, but that's probably only cause I can't afford a turbo. Yet.

I'm biased, but I'm siding with your mate with the 1400!
Large, are you a Queenslander? I've noticed that they stick together like bananas. . .
Hmmm now let me see, I remember you saying something about monkeys doing the riding many years ago...How about getting a smaller monkey then?
Supercharge!! Turbos they have been a few times now though simpler to fit on bikes.
As a famous (or is that infamous) drag racer from north of the border once said to me "Too much horsepower is ALMOST enough!" haha
I reckon big bore, old school superbike. Suspension work, era replica paint, sticky rubber & massive NA motor. The sound of a big bore is something to behold!
You mean like this?
Small burnout, XJR1300.jpg
Yes, with respect. . . like my avatar pic!
I'll be deducting that rubber from your pays !
Can I get credit against my holiday leave loading?
Bwaaahahahaha
Did you email flights to heather?
Yes. Gotta minute?
Bah, respect must be earnt, not handed out willy nilly like a K.Rudd surplus cheque! lol
Hahaha Pommie that pic is gold.
As for the XJR, I vote for turbo.
hmm imteresting, this could be enough to get me reading rapid again.
any more details on this xjr project jeff?
is it injected or carbed?
my vote would be either big bore or superchared.

It's an injected model.
