This is well worth supporting. They want to support ALL racers and not just the big names of our sport.

New Track, Support needed.
Hi everyone,
Part
of our business plan / feasibility study involves getting letters of
support from Individuals, various clubs, organizations and such.
Are you able to help with our cause?
If so, can you address the letter of support (on your letterhead) to the Forbes Dragstrip Committee via this email address.
What
we are aiming for is an international spec 1/8th track with a concrete
racing surface, concrete walls for the full length of the racing and
primary braking surface and a sealed / grassed pit area that would be
similar to Sydney Dragway’s.
Forbes is in the Ideal position to
have this track, Located on the Newell Highway, 7 hours north of
Melbourne, 4 hours west of Sydney and 11 hours south of Brisbane.
A track of this spec could easily support any type of car, anything from Junior Dragster to Top Fuel.
Some points you may consider.
*how many racers your organization represents.
*that the racers will travel and stay in Forbes and surrounding areas to compete.
*NSW needs another track and this location would fill a massive void for tracks on the East coast.
*how many times would you travel to Forbes to compete.
*possibilities of scheduled race meetings / club days at Forbes.
*how many dollars racers spend when travelling to a race meeting.
