   German MotoGP - Qualifying times

   Full qualifying times from the German MotoGP, round eight of the 2010 world championship.

   The session was red-flagged after a huge engine failure for world championship leader Jorge Lorenzo.

   Ben Spies and Randy de Puniet fell on the oil. Spies returned to the track but de Puniet, who hits Spies' bike as it lay in the gravel, headed for the medical centre to have a foot injury examined.

   German MotoGP - Race results

   Race results from the German MotoGP, round eight of the 2010 world championship.

   The race was stopped after nine complete laps due to a fiery three-bike accident involving ninth-place Randy de Puniet, Pramac Ducati's Aleix Espargaro and Rizla Suzuki's Alvaro Bautista.

   de Puniet has fractured his left leg.

   The restart was held over 21 laps with the starting order at the end of lap nine.
