   Looks like I got a bit excited, I thought the 1000 was getting a few new bits, but from what I have read it's only the 600 and 750?? At least they get the Big Piston Fork, but also looks like Brembo monobloc calipers!

   I had always thought that a regular four cylinder screamer had different timing for each cylinder, but the photo (there are a couple) show the cylinders matched up in pairs?? What the?

   They do have different timing

   
   

   remember that the four stroke has to travel around twice to complete the cycle.

   
   

   Sooo when cylinder 1 is compressing, cylinder 4 is pushing out the exhaust

   at the same time, Cylinder 2 is on the bottom of the power stroke while cylinder 3 has just sucked in a fresh charge of air.

   suzuki is in need of a big style revamp...

   Im my opinion the only good looking suzuki on the showroom floor is the sv1000/650

   It has nice sharp defining lines, whereas the gixxers are just a maze of confusing lines and graphics

   
   

   Ive heard that the reason the gsxr1000 is only getting a sticker upgrade this year is because there might be a gsvr1000 next year so that suzuki can have a production 1000cc in moto gp

   Ohhhh... okay I get it now. Same cylinder position but different part of the cycle. Got it.

   The other thing about Suzuki is that they may only field a one-man team in MotoGP next year, only to avoid any fines for withdrawing from MotoGP before their contract is up. 2012 may not even see Suzuki on the grid... well we'll see I suppose.
