RAPID BIKES September Issue.
The fun doesn’t stop here at Rapid Bikes! No sooner had we got our heads around our 1000cc comparo where the Honda swept all before it that we got stuck into the September issue and another comparo.
This time it’s the Middleweight Nakedbikes that head into the ring. The Honda CB600 Hornet v Triumph Street Triple 675 v Aprilia Shiver v Ducati Monster 696. It will certainly be one hell of a ride!
But that’s not all. The juniors are joined by the Heavyweights, the BMW K 1200 R v Suzuki B-King in a straight out cage fight to determine who is King of the crop and our Quick Test for September is the little Yamaha WR250X ‘Motard, which Rennie took for a good thrashing up around the Central Coast. We also have a sneak peak at the all new Yamaha V-Max
We couldn’t cram more modified bike in this issue if we tried! Our main feature bike for this month again goes the Leonard Azzopardi. This time it’s his sub-eight second Hayabusa that gets a close examination from the grand old man of drag racing, Mick Withers, and Mick also takes a look at airshifters in Workshop.
Brett Clark’s awesome SP2 Honda with a worked SP1 engine comes in next, closely followed by the beautiful Bikecraft Triumph Daytona 675.
If bling is your thing then you won’t want to miss the story on Mark Cremona’s GSX-R. Nickle plated e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. You have to see it to believe it.
September sees the first Legends instalment on Kenny Blake as Tony Hatton remembers a close friend and one of the best Aussie riders ever to strap on a helmet.
Greg Campbell brings us his second feature on this year’s Isle of Man TT, along with interviews from the all-conquering ANZACS, Cameron McDonald and Bruce Anstey.
Columns from Gardner, Giles, Pitt, Cudlin and Crowe, along with our ongoing reports on all our long-term machines will keep you glued to the pages.
You can still get the September issue of Rapid via the "Back Issues" link so don’t miss out!
